Small Packaging.

How sweet and damp the mist
clings to the mountain hills.
How delicate the air….

We then float down
to rugged land
and scraggy, inky trees,
the tavern roof…the fence.

The sea is calm…two fishermen
sit quiet in their boat.

And what a contrast this all is,
to those Abstract Expressionists,
Those Greenberg swagger boys,…
Who hollered…whooped and yowled,
Who roared at us.

Serene Sesshu had more to say,
500 years before them.
