A Lamentation.

The flowing Avon and the sea.
The wild and rugged mountains
to the rear….old Arklow’s History,
The Vikings, Harbour, Ships and Pottery.

But now…. Arklow is grieving.

Young mother…
Victim of such butchery,
Whose very life now hangs in jeopardy,
What is her suffering?

Young daughter…
Witness to a crazed brutality,
To carnage in the haven of her home.
Where does she go from here?

The Town…the World, is witness to,
A Universal Savagery.
