The Spirit Broken.
The spirit broken in the crashing
light of anger,
Lies fallen as a wounded animal.
And darkness gathers round
the burdened soul….
until the twilight comes.
It enters as a lifting thing,
and anger leaves upon
its crazy wings…
It soars into a nothing-ness.
And life returns again.
