A Dream too Bright.
I had a dream too bright
My heart leapt into flames
It danced the dance of burning love
The happy dance of life and lust
I had a dream too bright to last
a hopeful gleaming star
But dawn’s bold day came crashing in...wearing the gown of ribboned truth
The dream was not to be
The heart...which danced so easily was stilled
Into a shrivelled shrunken thing
