Good Night my Raheen Moon.

Good Night my Raheen Moon.

A solitary peace at night.
The darting bat on the wing
Full moon upon the rise above the Irish Sea
The orb of night is colourless
So we on earth may gaze at it...
This satellite of light
Compounded to the nothingness of white.

I sit on my old rotting bench
With pictures in my head
Of every antropoid and elephant
And every moth and bird and snake
And every vertebrate and varmint that ever lived on earth
Each and everyone of them
Has seen the glacial moonbeams overhead
And every plant that ever was slept under a lunar moon
.
Good Night my Raheen Moon . Good night..
