The Blindness of the Night.

First was the clay and then the potter came
Her fingers slender long and deft .
She moulded the sweet vessel to her touch
And then she decorated it.

Today the screen is white and light
And all her fingers tap
And having tapped she then moves on
Into the blindness of the night
Which overlaps with it.

And in-between the potter and the screen of light
There is a chasm larger than the leap.
There is a knowledge fallen deep
Into the deepest depths of it.
