madam tussauds

Madam Tussaud’s :
Where the lifeless living dwelt until
A scalding fire licked their waxy skins
Of doughy wax.

They had no chance to run or dash.
The doleful lifeless manikins
Fixed to a spot
Turned hot and hotter still...
In helpless stickiness.
These inert barren dolls
Half melted in the heat....

A poignant thing.

We’re made of energy
Can fire burn out energy ?

And what do we become ?
