The most used word in any language is ‘I’.
Which I? The new born baby I ?
The small girl I ? The woman I ?
There is no I.
I…as such, do not exist.
Cut me open.. search for me.
There is my heart. My liver
and my spleen…and all the other
The I I thought was me..
My memories , the pictures in my mind,
will not be found.
Amongst the throbbing veins,
The kidneys and my spleen.
I …as an entity..
Am nowhere to be seen,
The 100 trillion cells
of body and mind , make up one entity
within the greater cosmos all about.
So where am ‘I’ ?
We are everything from everywhere.
The oxygen from trees.. our air.
The rivers that we drink
become a part of us
The chalk within the earth …our bones,
All are a part of .
In this huge biosphere
I look at a cow…and say..
I am not that cow
But when I eat that cow…
the cow becomes a part of me.
I look at a cabbage
and I say…I am not a cabbage…
But… the cabbage eaten
becomes a part of me.
When the tiny bio cluster
which is my body and my mind
Mutates into what we call death,
Small creatures… worms.. will eat my flesh
And I’ll become a part of them.
I don’t mind that.
2020…. Not finished.
