And tender is the face…
And tender is the father
Taking brush and oils,
to capture him.
Soft curl of hair..
Pale pensive flesh of youth.
Brown distant eyes that gaze
into some other space.
Crowned in an Orange hat,
draws colour to the lips
The young man.. we see him,
Becomes a part of us.
And loving is the hand,.
That painted the sweet sorrow
yet to come…
Immortalising Titus..his young son…
Who died too young..too young.
